eCBA Release Notes
Versioning is a process of tracking changes to a database or software over time, allowing users to understand how the database has evolved and to easily roll back changes if necessary. As changes are made to the UI/UX of the database, it will be documented here in the release notes and this will include a brief description of the change, and the date it was made. We also use GitHub as the version control system to manage changes to the database by our developers. This allows us to track changes over time, roll back changes if necessary, and collaborate with others on the database.
Major – Significant updates to platform
Minor – Minor changes UI/UX
Patch – Smaller bug fixes
Operational – Pre-release/Testing version
AI Project Analysis Improvements
Minor
Introduced the AI project analysis dashboard component to drive analytics on platform-level data. This enables our internal team to gather insights into project diversity across sectors and countries, track user growth, and provides a better understanding of results screening and sensitivity analysis usage.
Serbian Language Support
Patch
Serbian language support has been added to the application. Users can now switch between English, Vietnamese, and Serbian, making the platform more accessible and inclusive for Serbian-speaking users. All major navigation elements and modules have full Serbian translations, with ongoing improvements for a seamless localized experience.
Multi Language Support
Operational pre-release
The application now supports native multi-language support, allowing users to view and interact with the application in their preferred language. The update includes a language templating module that enables new country onboarding. The language documents are server-side rendered for faster loading times and improved performance.
Hosting and Deployment Improvements
Minor
Patch
The application has been migrated to a new hosting environment and the deployment processes streamlined for improved stability, faster response times, and enhanced developer efficiency. Users should experience faster page loads and more consistent performance across the platform and screening process.
Improved Variant Modelling
Minor
Updates allow users to model new variants based off existing variants through the newly added clone function. Additionally, variant state is persisted when entering Financial or Economic input series data. This provides users with more flexibility and control over their analysis, allow users to quickly build on existing variants and move through the modelling process.
Project Payload Improvements
Major
Operational pre-release
This update introduces several improvements to the project payload component, extending its functionality for future development and additional modules to be added to the eCBA. Changes focused on data handling and consistency across the application that were lead by user feedback and testing.
Updated eCBA video walkthroughs
Minor
Based on user feedback, we’ve enhanced our video walkthrough content by restructuring it into three focused segments for better user experience. The updated series includes: (1) ‘Introduction to eCBA’ providing an overview of the application, (2) ‘The eCBA in Practice’ guiding users through project setup and screening processes, and (3) ‘Interpreting Your Results’ helping users understand and analyze their screened variant outcomes. This segmented approach makes the learning process more manageable and allows users to easily find specific guidance when needed.
Macro Economic cumulative inflation bug fixes
Minor
Patch
This patch addresses a bug in the Macro Economic section where cumulative inflation calculations were not updating correctly when sensitive variables like the reference period were modified in Project Details. The fix ensures accurate inflation calculations that properly reflect changes to project parameters, maintaining data consistency across the application.
File storage bug fix
Patch
This patch addresses an edge case in the document management system where project files weren’t being properly cleaned up during project deletion. The fix ensures that all associated documents are now correctly removed when a project is deleted, preventing orphaned files and maintaining system integrity.
Document Management and eCBA Assistant Beta
Major
Operational pre-release
We’re excited to introduce two major features to enhance the eCBA. Users can now attach and manage various document formats directly at the project level, enabling better project documentation and supporting justification of input values with source materials. Additionally, we’ve launched the beta version of our eCBA Assistant (currently available to admin users), an AI RAG helper designed to guide users through platform features and provide real-time support for completing project analyses. This intelligent assistant aims to enhance user understanding and efficiency across the platform.
